Crown hosted an Employee Engagement Briefing this morning (June 28) with special guest Phil Sherwood for an exclusive group of delegates at the Hospital Club, London.

The briefing kicked off with a foreword from Nicky Havelaar, MD at Crown, who drew on the agency’s experience of designing the Games Maker Orientation Events in the run-up to London 2012.

Phil Sherwood, former Head of Workforce and Volunteer Training at LOCOG, offered his insights after working with Crown to motivate and engage 70,000 volunteers in over 800 roles culminating in 1.5 million training hours and eight million hours’ work.

Simon Hambley, Director of Live at Crown, said: “We are delighted to have hosted this special event with such an engaging speaker, and our delegates left with meaningful strategies that they can apply to their business immediately.”

Delegates from organisations including Virgin Media, BT, Eurostar, Marks and Spencer and Thomas Cook responded very positively to the event.
