At the end of October we produced the DCSF IAG launch event at Old Trafford. Attended by an audience made up of 14-19 year olds, stakeholders and employers, the event marked the launch of the new Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) programme, designed to demonstrate how employers can help young people into the workplace and how this will ultimately benefit future industries.
Facilitating the evening’s extensive and successful Q&A sessions and exhibition was BBC Newsreader Mishal Hussain, who was joined on the panel by apprentice champions such as Ed Balls and Sir Alex Ferguson.
